PUKARA 5K
Pukara means “fortress” in Quechua, a word that connects this distance with the deep history of Jujuy and the iconic Pucará de Tilcara. But it also represents the spirit with which every adventure begins: taking the first step, overcoming the first challenges, and discovering that, very often, true strength lies in simply daring to begin.
The experience starts and finishes in Purmamarca, one of the most picturesque villages in Northern Argentina, with the Cerro 7 Colores as its witness. The course passes through Purmamarca’s main square and the Paseo de Los Colorados, winding around mountains that seem to have been painted by hand. The finish line will be at the Club Santa Rosa stadium, the famous “World’s Most Beautiful Field,” at 2,300 meters above sea level: the perfect setting to share this special moment with family and supporters.
